Daniel Davies Deep Dive
NTKP Note: I have come to know Colonel Douglas MacGregor through his articles, videos, podcasts and interviews since the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. His thoughts on world military and geopolitical views are well informed, truthful and wise, sometimes brutally so. A loyal American with the priceless ability to see things form the other fellah’s point of view then tell it like it is from his own.
You can read about his career to date here: https://www.douglasmacgregor.com/about

YouTube Notes: Trump initially claimed he would resolve the Russia-Ukraine war quickly, even before his potential inauguration, but later acknowledged the complexity of the conflict, shifting his timeline to 3–6 months after taking office.
Analysts criticized his understanding of the situation, citing misinformation from advisors and unrealistic assumptions. Col Macgregor argued that resolving the conflict would require suspending U.S. military aid and withdrawing personnel from Ukraine, as continued support prolongs the war.
Critics also noted that U.S. and European influence over Russia is diminishing due to strategic missteps and that nationalist movements in Europe may alter the geopolitical landscape, further complicating efforts to negotiate peace.
Proposed solutions, including diplomatic concessions, face skepticism due to entrenched globalist priorities and distrust among involved parties. Observers emphasized that the conflict's root causes, such as Ukraine’s militarization and historical grievances, need addressing, but political narratives and misinformation hinder realistic approaches to peace.

There is really no downside for America to continue helping Ukraine defend themselves against Putin’s asinine invasion of their country. The one downside is expensive energy but now America is energy dominant and oil and gas haven’t been expensive since 2022…so the few months of expensive energy created windfall profits for American frackers a few years after the sector had record bankruptcies! Plus, as long as senators like Lindsey Graham and Ron Johnson exist we will spend $1 trillion every decade preparing for a war with Russia…so now we are getting great value for our defense spending thanks to the brave Ukrainian soldiers defending their country from aggression and degrading Russia’s military while they do it!
That said, Trump could easily end the war tomorrow—just give Putin the territory he already controls and provide Ukraine with a security guarantee if Putin crosses the new border. Putin will throw a tantrum but will he really risk an escalation that results in nuclear war??
